JDJ Foundation respects the privacy of individuals who visit (the “Website”). This policy explains how we collect, maintain, and use personal information that you provide to us or is otherwise collected through your use of the Website. By visiting our Website, you accept the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected offline.

    You do not have to provide personally-identifiable information to access or use the Website. However, to take full advantage of the Website, you may choose to furnish us with personally-identifiable information through the Website. For example, if you make a donation through the Website, contact us through the Website “Contact us” form, or sign up to receive newsletters and future event information, you may be asked to provide your contact information (such as name, email address, and phone number). We will only collect such information through the Website when you provide it to us voluntarily.

  1. Making a Donation

Donations are processed by third party platforms and payment processors of our choice such as PayPal or Blackbaud, Inc. (collectively, “Third-Party Vendors”). You provide to Third-Party Vendors, directly, certain personally identifiable information such are your name, addresss, and credit card or bank account number, subject to the terms and conditions set by that Third-Party Vendor, and not this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to read the policies of the Third-Party Vendors before submitting any information to their websites. We make no warranty, guarantee, or representation as to a Third-Party Vendor’s use of your information. 

Access to Financial Information.  Per Third-Party Vendor policies, certain information provided to the Third-Party Vendor in connection with your donation, such as name and email address, and donation amount, may be shared with JDJ Foundation.  However, JDJ Foundation will not collect or have access to any credit card numbers or bank account information collected by the Third-Party Vendors in the processing of online transactions.

  1. How Do We Use the Personally-identifiable Information We Collect?

We may use the personally-identifiable information you provide on the Website for the purpose(s) for which you have provided such information, which may include:

  • Process your Donation or other requests. We may use your personal information to process a donation and send your receipt or to process your request to join our group or mailing list.
  • Responding to Your Inquiries. We may use your personal information to respond to your inquiries to JDJ Foundation.
  • Communicating with You About Our Organization, Developments, Products, Programs, and Events. We may use your personally-identifiable information to send you information about JDJ Foundation’s activities, new events, partnerships, or other on-goings that may be of interest to you.
  • Sending Administrative Emails. From time to time, we may use your personally identifiable information to send you administrative emails regarding our Website or changes to this Policy, etc.
  • For internal organizational, analytical, and planning purposes to improve the JDJ Foundation and our ability to provide you the Website and its offerings.

Except as with our affiliated companies and organizations and service-providers for the purpose of providing you the Website and its offering,  JDJ Foundation will not share, sell or trade your personal information without your consent, unless required by law.
