Have you ever wanted to help others struggling in your community, but weren’t sure how to go about it?
The JDJ Charitable Foundation has created a unique society just for you. Join your peers and help make a difference in peoples’ lives!
The Loving Heart Society (LHS) is a unique society that simplifies the volunteer process and makes volunteering with your peers fun.
We are seeking compassionate individuals motivated to donate their time to help the sick and underprivileged in their community to be a part of the LHS.
Members of the LHS participate in various types of volunteer events provided by the JDJ Charitable Foundation and its partners.
Past experiences have included: bringing care packages to the sick in the hospital, serving meals to the hungry at soup kitchens, hosting birthday parties for underprivileged children, delivering meals to the homebound, rebuilding damaged homes from recent disasters and much more.
Members also have the ability to trade in volunteer hours for a donation.
When members reach 10 total volunteer hours, we will make a $500 donation to the nonprofit or charitable cause of their choice. The more hours volunteered, the higher the donation we will make in their honor!

What to Expect
Opportunity
We provide you with many types of nonprofit volunteer opportunities that are truly rewarding. There is a sense of self-worth gained by spending your time helping others find their way.
Networking
You will be presented with great networking opportunities to meet like-minded individuals who are concerned with helping others in their community.
Appreciation
You will be appreciated! Members are celebrated during our annual members-only appreciation event and are offered first access to our fundraisers and annual gala. Sometimes members will even be given discounted ticket options to Foundation events.
Access
You will be presented with a wide array of volunteer opportunities that you may not be able to find or participate in on your own. One of the key elements provided by the Loving Heart Society to its members is ACCESS.
We partner with some of the most exciting and unique charitable organizations in existence. Some of these include Ronald McDonald House New York and The Birthday Party Project.
Collaboration
You will be able to meet with our executive board and pitch donation and volunteer event ideas.
If these ideas meet the mission of our Foundation, we will make a donation or organize a volunteer event on that member's behalf.
