Through hands-on learning, Lenox Hill’s emergency medicine team will teach us how to:
1. Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
2. Use an automated external defibrillator (AED)
3. Recognize the signs of anaphylaxis and administer an EpiPen
4. Provide first aid, including proper wound care and applying a tourniquet
5. Identify the signs of choking and perform the Heimlich maneuver
6. Spot the signs of heat-related illness and provide treatment
7. Recognize the signs of opioid overdose and administer Narcan

We will also enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres after the training. Please let us know if you would like to join us by April 24th. This will be a great opportunity to socialize, meet Lenox Hill’s emergency medicine physicians, and learn some lifesaving techniques!
